TAMIYA 1/10 R/C Toyota Land Cruiser 40 (CC-02)

Tamiya is delighted to announce the release of the Toyota Land Cruiser 40 as our new R/C model on the cross country CC-02 chassis.

The Toyota Land Cruiser is one of the most famous 4WD vehicles in the world. The long-selling Land Cruiser 40 series was sold from 1960 to 1984, and employed front / rear rigid axles with leaf springs, and durable ladder frame.

This R/C model assembly kit recreates the 1972 Land Cruiser FJ40V which is one of the most popular cars in that series.

About the Model
• This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 390mm, width: 198mm, height: 237mm. Wheelbase: 252mm (M-size wheelbase).
• The lightweight, durable polycarbonate body realistically captures the distinctive square form of the Toyota Land Cruiser 40.
• Separate components faithfully depict grille, mirrors and turn signals.
• The CC-02 chassis is designed for a wide range of off-road scenes, and has a ladder frame which was inspired by full-size vehicles.
• Propeller shafts (short: 76mm) are also included.
• A roof rack with light pods is realistically depicted with separately molded parts.
• Silver color 12-spoke wheels are paired with block pattern tires. (Wide wheels are included to recreate the customised version.)
• New stickers feature integrated window and window frame sections to allow ease of applying stickers and eliminate the need for painting.

Please note, this version is without Radio and ESC, we recommend the RC set and ESC from Mstyle.

CC-02 Chassis - Off Road, Evolved

Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis" ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability.

A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections.
